Founded by Jesus Christ and organized under the direction of God by Rev. Dr. Ricardo Symonette in August 2000 , Freedom Temple of Miami is more than just a place of worship—it is a wholistic ministry dedicated to empowering the entire person: spiritually, socially, and mentally. We are proud to be celebrating our 26th Anniversary in February 2026, marking over two decades of impactful ministry.

Our motto, “The Church With the Exciting Difference: Where Jesus can make you free!” is the cornerstone of our mission. We believe deeply in the transformative power of faith, knowing that “if the Son sets you free, you are free indeed” (John 8:36).

At Freedom Temple, we are committed to reaching all people, regardless of their economic standing or racial background. Our doors are open to everyone because we believe everybody is somebody! Our mission is clear: to impact our community in positive ways and ensure that everyone we encounter leaves us better off than before. Our outreach efforts are particularly focused on mitigating poverty and alleviating financial hardships.
